Charles Turner is a San Francisco real estate professional and a
volunteer for the local nonprofit organization dedicated to helping
those living in poverty in the area, St. Anthony’s. Turner has 33 years
of experience working in the real estate market of San Francisco as an
agent, Realtor, and investor. He recently started a tech company as
well, hoping to bring valuable services to people throughout the United
States and taking advantage of the rising tech boom in the area. Turner
is also careful to give back to his community as much as possible in
addition to his many duties as a real estate professional. He volunteers
for St. Anthony’s as much as possible.
St. Anthony’s is a
religious institution that provides basic services to the
impoverished community of San Francisco. Over the years since it was founded, St.
Anthony’s has risen to be one of the leading places where homeless and
others struggling with poverty to come and receive a free meal and use
services that allow them to stretch their budgets to cover food,
clothing, and shelter to them and their families. Charles Turner wanted
to help the San Francisco institution because of the research that
indicates that 15,000 people in the area make use of free meal programs.
St. Anthony’s also estimates that 12,000 families in the area live in
rooms without access to kitchens. Charles Turner helps the San Francisco
poor community by helping to serve some of the 3000 daily meals in St.
Anthony’s Dining Room, a space with a hundred-year history that has been
updated and remodeled to help more people in the San Francisco
community.
Charles Turner loves his community in San Francisco.
